Hi.  My name is David Nicholl and I had the privilege of teaching in the Weld RE-4 School District for 30 years.

I started teaching PE in Windsor in the fall of 1981.  I also coached football, wrestling and baseball for several years.  I had the incredible honor of working with many fine students and athletes through the years.

I grew up in Englewood, CO and went to college at UNC in Greeley.  I met my soul mate in college when I started dating an amazing young lady named Amy.  We were married in August of 1980 and have two wonderful children, Emily and Calen.

I retired from our RE-4 School District in May 2011.  Although I am retired from teaching, I still have the opportunity to work with students through my stipend position as Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC).  I have the honor of helping students to move forward in their journey through school and life and encouraging them on their path to success.  It is an incredible opportunity to help make a positive difference in the lives of students. 

Student Assistance Program (SAP)

The student assistance program is a school based prevention and intervention program designed to help encourage students to make positive choices and maximize their potential in school and in life.  Students are connected to the program through mandatory referrals from the administrative team, through concern referrals from parents, staff, other students, or through self-referral.  Students are supported through brief prevention or intervention sessions which are specific to the needs of the student.  These may include sessions for tobacco, alcohol or other drug abuse, peer conflict issues, mediation, or other issues.
